PetroNova S.A. · Port Meridian, Arcadia · S/4HANA 2023 RISE · 33-Week QA/QC Engagement
The Engagement Narrative

You are the independent assurance team — not the implementer.

The client: PetroNova S.A., a mid-size energy company headquartered at Port Meridian, Arcadia, implementing SAP S/4HANA RISE for the first time across Finance, Procurement, and Operations.

Your firm: Meridian QA (your employer) — the independent QA/QC assurance firm contracted separately from the implementer. You are not part of the implementation team.

The implementer: Apexon — the SAP implementation partner whose configuration, testing, and documentation you are there to review and challenge.

The engagement: A 33-week, seven-domain QA/QC programme running from project kick-off through to post go-live hypercare. As the Junior QA Analyst, you operate the Findings Register, the Action Tracker, the RAG Dashboard, and the Submission Log — the four registers that make an independent assurance engagement work.

What You'll Master
Six domains. Thirty sections.
All scenario-grounded.
Each domain runs 5 sections through the 7-stage learning journey — reflect, watch, read, quiz, task, pod session, complete.
M1
Controls QA Fundamentals
What a QA Analyst actually does on an S/4HANA implementation — scope, methodology, and client engagement.
M2
Configuration Review
Testing S/4HANA configuration against the approved design — document the gap, raise it professionally, track the fix.
M3
SoD Review
Reviewing access control designs for segregation of duties conflicts at the junior analyst level.
M4
Workpaper Production
Professional workpaper writing — the format, the evidence standard, and what makes your work reviewable by a Senior.
M5
Client Communication
How to present a QA finding to a client team — constructive, evidence-based, and without creating a defensive reaction.
M6
Go-Live QA Sign-Off
The final QA checklist, the sign-off document, and how to handle a finding that is still open at go-live.
How the Course Works
Seven stages. Every section.
Not a video library. Not a slide deck. A structured learning journey that produces real practitioner output at every stage.
01
Reflect
Pre-assess your current knowledge before each section — frame the challenge in MEG's world.
02
Watch
HeyGen practitioner video — Big 4 delivery, no filler, scenario-grounded throughout.
03
Read
Section notes — the same DOCX reference material used in real client engagements.
04
Quiz
5 advanced questions per section. 80% to proceed. Scenario-based, not definition-recall.
05
Task
A practitioner deliverable — produce the document, the analysis, or the evidence package.
06
Pod
45-minute pod session with 3–5 peers at the same stage — instructor-led, scenario-focused.
07
Complete
All gates passed — section locked as complete. Progress tracked in your personal dashboard.
What You'll Be Able To Do
Outcomes. Not just knowledge.
Each outcome is a demonstrable skill — produced through task deliverables and pod session practice, not just tested through multiple choice.
Produce professional QA workpapers that meet Big 4 evidence standards
Conduct a configuration and SoD review on an S/4HANA implementation
Communicate findings to client teams with confidence and precision
Contribute to a go-live QA sign-off on a real engagement scenario
Who This Course Is Built For
Built for practitioners.
Not beginners.
This is an advanced course. The scenario assumes you can read a GRC audit finding, understand what SoD means, and know why controls matter. If you're ready to go deeper — this is for you.
